A few things to know as you get started
When considering enrolling at Prospect, there are three things we want to make sure you know:
-
A Complete K–12 Pathway
Start in kindergarten or join us in middle school, and your child has a path to Brooklyn Prospect High School, one of the top-rated high schools in New York City.
-
Admission by Lottery
Seats are awarded by a blind, random lottery. Every child is welcome to apply.
-
Public, and Always Free
Prospect schools are public schools, open to every NYC family at no cost.
The portrait of a graduate
From kindergarten to graduation
At Prospect Schools, we are rooted in our "Portrait of a Graduate" — it guides our approach to student learning and growth. Watch this video for a sense of what it's like to come through Prospect Schools.
