Virtual Music Videos at CHMS

In the spring, Wes Webb (Musical Theatre Teacher at Clinton Hill Middle School and Network K-12 Performing Arts Coordinator) led students in the development of a series of virtual music videos. 6th, 7th and 8th graders recorded their own video and vocals, creating DIY sound booths in closets and corners of their homes and pop filters out of old wire hangers and socks for the best sound possible.

Wes then worked with a professional sound engineer, funded through Donor’s Choose, to bring the students’ voices back together while physically apart. Parents acted as artistic collaborators, too!

The final products are an astounding testament to the creativity, passion, and resourcefulness of our community. Check them out below!
