Welcome to Middle School #3

Welcome to Prospect Schools third middle school. The soon-to-be-named Middle School will serve the District 15 area in the 2023-24 school year with a 6th-grade class in Sunset Park. It is expected to grow to a full middle school that serves up to the 8th grade.

This school will draw from the success of other schools in the Prospect Schools network. It will be an academic environment where students can explore new ideas in a safe and small school setting with the support of a diverse community of students, families, teachers, and staff. Students can bring their true selves to our space every day and feel comfortable trying new things, grappling with difficult material, making mistakes, and developing the skills and confidence to tackle whatever challenges come their way. We empower students to use their voices to advocate for themselves and positively impact the world around them.

It is because of the adults in our community that our middle school students leave our building embodying our core values and as lifelong learners. They are eager to have a positive impact on society. From day one, our advisory curriculum and trauma-sensitive school routines emphasize developing well-rounded students. Our small school environment and student-centered teaching approach help our faculty carefully adapt to middle school students’ broad spectrum of academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.
