BPCS Skating Party, MARCH 4th from 12-3pm at City Ice Pavilion. All students in grades 6-8 are invited; parents and/or siblings are invited to join as well. $10 includes admission, skate rentals and snacks. The City Ice Pavilion is located in Long Island City, two blocks from the 33rd Street Stop (Rawson) off the 7 train. There is free indoor parking.

The PTSO Community Service Committee is pleased to announce that our Fall service project will be a Book Drive to collect new and gently used children's books for "Reach Out and Read" in Brooklyn (http://www.reachoutandreadnyc.org/). Book drive will be December 5 - 16 !! Save the dates and save your books!!

An evening for 7th grade parents and dedicated to learning and discussing adolescent development.  This free event will consist of a moderated panel of experts in adolescent issues and break-out workshops with parents. We hope all 7th grade parents will join us in exploring the unique challenges that parents, students, and educators face, and walk away with support and strategies that will help to improve communication with students.

The Brooklyn Prospect Bowling Party will be held on Saturday January 29th, from 3pm - 5pm at Melody Lanes (461 37th street, 4th/5th aves., Sunset Park , Brooklyn). There will be a $15 charge at the door for all bowlers; this will include 2 hours of play per lane, shoes and snacks. Please note: there is a maximum of 72 bowlers that can be accommodated, so we'll be asking students to pre-register for this event.
