Brooklyn Prospect invites you and your child to The Studio Museum in Harlem for a free, weekend culture-getaway! 

When: Saturday, June 4, 12:30pm – 3pm (depart school at 11am / return at 4pm)*
Where:The Studio Museum in Harlem, 144 West 125th Street
How much: FREE 
Activities: Guided Tour of the Museum plus a basket weaving workshop

*We will meet at the front entrance of Sunset Park HS at 10:30am and depart for the museum from there. Students will return to the school at 4pm. If unaccompanied, your child MUST be dropped off at 10:30am and picked up at 4:00pm from the BPCS Main Entrance by an ADULT.

Poly Prep Country Day School is located at the corner of 7th Avenue and 92nd Street in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. The main entrance is on 7th Avenue, just south of 92nd Street. The athletic fields are behind the school, one-quarter mile south of the main entrance. Bus and van parking is on 7th Avenue.

Brooklyn Prospect Charter School's diagnostic assessments (benchmark testing) for incoming sixth grade students will be conducted on Saturday, June 11th.  We ask that all students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in Brooklyn Prospect's 2011 sixth grade class attend and complete this assessment. 

A permission slip should be completed prior to arrival, and should accompany your student to the assessment. 

Basic information about the test date and time can be found below:
 
Date: Saturday, June 11
Time: 8:30am-10:50am
Students will

• take two assessments, each lasting approximately one hour with a ten minute break
• be dismissed in groups as they finish and should be met in the cafeteria for pickup*.

(Please report to the lobby for check-in at 8:30am. Students will then go to the 5th floor for assessments. We ask parents who do not remain at school during the testing to return to the cafeteria, on C level – one floor down from the main lobby - at 10:50 to begin pick-up*)

What to bring: Two sharpened number 2 pencils, water, peanut-free snacks, completed permission slip.
